Sallie's School of Dance

Sallie McCown opened Sallie's School of Dance in 1978 and is celebrating her 45th year this year.

 

Over the past 40 years Sallie and her staff have taught thousands of children and adults in the Fort Worth area. Many of her students have received college scholarships and have become professional dancers, performing and teaching from California to New York and as far away as London.

Sallie's School of Dance has served the Fort Worth Community as well as National Charities with Dance-A-Thon's and fundraisers for The American Heart Assoc., The Foundation Fighting Blindness, The Angel Tree Program and many other charitable causes.

Sallie's dancers have performed at Disneyworld, Carnival and Royal Carribbean Cruises and many local and statewide events. The goal of Sallie's School of Dance is to encourage all dancers by teaching them not only dance technique, but the joy and "love" of the art of dance. We encourage all of our students in a positive way so that they can take pride in their success and build self confidence.
